Death valley bloomed for the first time in 10 years
The hottest place on the planet — the American Death Valley these days is painted bright colors of flowering plants. It happened here for the first time in the last 10 years.
Death valley is called intermountain trough in the area of the Mojave desert and Great Basin in the Western United States in California, to the South-East of the mountain range of the Sierra Nevada. Average maximum temperature in July reaches 46 degrees C, falling at night to +31 °C. the coolest season is from late November to February (+5…+20 °C). Many deserts on Earth from time to time is covered with flowers: the wind brings seeds in the soil waiting to precipitation and other favorable weather conditions. Recently bloom’s driest desert, the Atacama in Chile, though the second time this year.

And yet, this year tourists in Death Valley rife. Flowers, whose seeds slept for years, sprinkled with hot sand, gave the sprouts after the hurricane El niño and the Valley bloomed.
As they say on the page of the national Park «Death Valley», now the local rocks and sand, you can see different kinds of Fazeli (Phacelia), Asteraceae (Asteraceae), Cipriani (Onagraceae) and other flowers, able to survive in such unusual conditions.
